Downtown Rutledge Holiday Market
Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The inaugural Downtown Rutledge Holiday Market is looking for vendors.
The Market will take place Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and will be held in the historic setting of the Nance House and Friendship Park, located at 103 Marshall Ave., in the heart of Downtown Rutledge.
Step inside the Historic Register listed Nance House and take a step back in time to shop vendors set up inside the large Community Room. Tommy Toes, a new coffee house/cafe, located in the front parlor and dining room area, will hold a soft opening the day of the Market.
Open air shopping will take place in Friendship Park, just behind the Nance House. Vendors will line the paved walking path in the park beneath the canopy of old growth trees. An additional indoor shopping opportunity can be found inside the Corum House, which can be accessed through the southwest end of Friendship Park.
Market vendors will offer a variety of handcrafted and original items and homemade specialty foods. Food trucks offering made-to-order cuisine will be found along Marshall Ave., and visitors will have the opportunity to not only shop, but explore and learn more about some of the historic buildings being restored in Downtown Rutledge.
Vendors may call 865-828-5927 for more information about how to apply.
