Fall Equinox
Description
Friends and neighbors are invited to join us as we welcome the season of fall with our annual Fall Equinox Celebration at our scenic overlook, Inspiration Point. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to an indoor location. Attendees are invited but not required to bring a contribution to our snack table (finger foods only, please). Where: Enter at the Mac Smith Resource Center (1936 Liberty Hill Rd., Washburn, TN) and, either drive or walk to Inspiration Point.
Driving: Those driving will follow the gravel road up hill until you see the Becky Barn. Turn right opposite the barn and follow the road uphill, behind Persimmon Point Cabin and to the left past the labyrinth. Continue up hill following the gravel road and join us at the field north (left) of the pavilion.
Walking: Those who choose to walk to Inspiration Point are encouraged to wear shoes and clothing suitable to the weather conditions and the light uphill journey. Follow the directions provided for drivers above.
