Summer Eve: Mothing, Fireflies, Bats, & Stars

In honor of National Moth Week, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the beauty, diversity and ecological importance of moths.  This event is a part of a global effort in which participants of all ages contribute valuable data that helps scientists better understand these fascinating insects. We will gather at our scenic Inspiration Point at 8pm where fireflies and bats will be the "opening acts." As night falls, we will take in the beauty of our moth neighbors as well as the night sky.

Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket (some chairs will be provided), as well as a camera/cell phone if you would like to capture and submit moth photos to nationalmothweek.org.
