German Creek Recreation Area


Located along Cherokee Lake, German Creek Recreation Area combines lakeshore habitat with open fields and woodland edges. The mix of water and forest makes it productive year-round for both waterbirds and songbirds. It’s an accessible, family-friendly location with easy walking areas and excellent sunrise viewing.
