Celebrate America’s 250th birthday in the heart of Downtown Rutledge with an evening filled with community pride, great food, and live entertainment. This signature Grainger County event brings together families, neighbors, and visitors for a night that reflects the true spirit of our community.
Event Highlights
Food Trucks, Kid Zone & Photo Booths — 5:30 PM Arrive hungry and explore a wide variety of food truck favorites, including Fat Boyz Smok’n Shak, Swineys BBQ, Tina's Sweet Factory, Luther's Homemade Ice Cream, Snow Daddys, Deep South Fish Shack, Gohan Japanese Grill, Grainger County Rescue Squad, The Pita Pocket, Hoagies on Wheels, Twinz Main Squeeze, Roberto’s Real Italian Ice, Hungry Monkey, and Smoky Mountain Snack Company. From smoky barbecue and fresh seafood to sweet treats and refreshing drinks, there’s something for everyone.
Live Music — 6:30 PM Billy Sales and the Double Barrel Band take the stage, bringing high‑energy entertainment to kick off the evening.
Parade — 8:00 PM The annual Independence Parade begins at 8 p.m., proudly led by Grainger County veterans.
Fireworks Finale — Around 9:30 PM End the night with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the downtown sky. Free commemorative American flags will be available throughout the evening.
